Tori Vollmer

Tori is currently an Intern working on her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University. She is a veteran of the United States Armed Forces as well as a retired Law Enforcement officer. As an Intern, Tori’s primary focus is on helping clients find the solutions that will best address their most pressing concerns. She does this by way of Solution Focused Brief Therapy while taking a collaborative approach to treatment.

It is Tori’s belief that one of the most courageous decisions a person can make along their journey through life, is to allow themselves to be vulnerable enough to ask for help from time to time. This is especially true when they find themselves stuck in a situation that leaves them feeling defeated or in some cases as, “less than”.

Tori also believe that we each hold the answers to our problems within ourselves, but that we occasionally need a little help finding a way to uncover those answers. She works with individuals, couples, and families. Tori also work with active-duty military, veterans, members of the LGBTQIA community, and individuals facing domestic violence issues.

Tori can be reached by email at tori@migcounseling.com.
